Established in 2010, Belvidere Ridge Chaff is a South Australian family-owned and operated business dedicated to growing and processing hay into premium quality chaff.

We believe premium quality chaff starts in the paddock. We grow the majority of our hay for chaff production across the Barossa and Lower Mid North regions of South Australia. By managing every stage of the process from seed to harvest we maintain complete control over hay quality and consistency—ensuring premium chaff our customers can rely on season after season.

This hands-on dedication has established Belvidere Ridge Chaff as a reliable and trusted horse feed brand. As demand for our chaff grew the Nitschke family commissioned a purpose-built chaff mill in 2014. Accredited by Australian Biosecurity our facility meets strict export and quality standards, enabling us to supply premium chaff to customers across Australia and export to markets throughout Asia and the Middle East.

Through our ongoing commitment to quality, traceability and consistency, Belvidere Ridge Chaff has built an award-winning reputation trusted by horse owners, trainers and feed suppliers alike. With our own dedicated transport service we deliver chaff across Australia (except WA and TAS) providing feed suppliers with direct and timely service.
