Belvidere Ridge Chaff wins Grand Champion Fodder 2023 Royal Adelaide Show

Belvidere Ridge Chaff achieved great success at this year’s Royal Adelaide Show, taking out the Grand Champion Fodder Prize as well as being awarded Champion Chaff! These results come on the back of what was a very wet season and exceptionally late 22/23 harvest. Given the challenges faced, these results are particularly rewarding.

Our chaff won First Prize in 3/4 classes entered:

Class 27- Wheaten Chaff - First Prize

Class 28- Oaten Chaff- First Prize

Class 30- Chaff (Other)- First Prize - Belvidere Ridge Wheaten Lucerne Blend

Points are awarded for:

-Digestibility

-Crude protein

-Trueness to type, freedom from extraneous, excess moisture or moulds

-Overall appearance
